Hands-on math in upper elementary grades can be a lost art. Our session will focus on incorporating manipulatives into our instruction in order to build conceptual understanding. We will use a variety of hands-on manipulatives to build upon strategies highlighted in the South Carolina State Department's Modern Classroom Project.
