Limited Capacity seats available
This session focuses on strengthening teachers’ relational capacity to create a positive, engaging, and student-centered classroom culture. Grounded in AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) strategies, participants will explore how intentional relationship-building directly impacts student achievement, motivation, and behavior.

Educators will engage in interactive AVID-based activities, such as collaborative structures, focused note-taking, and relationship-centered check-ins, that can be implemented immediately in their classrooms. The session emphasizes creating a culture of trust, high expectations, and student voice, while also modeling strategies that promote equity and active engagement.

Participants will leave with practical tools to build meaningful connections with students, establish a supportive classroom environment, and foster a culture where all learners feel valued, challenged, and empowered to succeed.
