This presentation explores practical and purposeful ways to incorporate movement into the general education classroom to support student engagement, focus, and academic success. Participants will examine the benefits of movement as an instructional strategy and how it can improve attention, increase participation, and enhance learning retention across content areas. The session will highlight how movement supports a variety of learners while also addressing students’ physical and social-emotional needs.

Educators will learn simple, realistic strategies that can be embedded into daily instruction without sacrificing valuable teaching time. The presentation will also demonstrate how movement can be integrated into core subjects such as math, reading, science, and social studies.

Participants will leave with ready-to-use ideas, adaptable strategies for different grade levels, and tools to create a more active, engaging learning environment. This session is designed to help teachers feel confident using movement intentionally to enhance instruction and support all learners.
