From Rubric to Revision: Using MagicSchool AI to Improve Student Writing
LIMITED
Friday July 31, 2026 10:00am - 10:50am EDT
Limited Capacity seats available
Participants will learn how to input the South Carolina Writing Rubric into MagicSchool AI so students can receive standards-aligned feedback, targeted revision suggestions, and an estimated writing score—all in real time.

Rather than replacing teacher feedback, this course focuses on using AI to enhance the writing process, allowing students to independently reflect on their work, revise with purpose, and better understand rubric expectations. Teachers will explore how AI-generated feedback can promote student ownership, increase revision quality, and save instructional time.

LIMITED
Friday July 31, 2026 11:00am - 11:50am EDT
Limited Capacity seats available
You have limited time, diverse learners, and constant demands for meaningful feedback. What if you could plan faster without lowering quality?

In this session, you will see how Schoology’s PowerBuddy AI can support real classroom work in grades 3–12. Through a live, start-to-finish demonstration, you will learn how to turn a learning objective into an assignment, differentiate it for multiple levels, and generate aligned assessment and feedback in minutes.

This session keeps the focus on what works in practice. You will learn simple prompting strategies, see how to refine AI-generated content, and explore examples from ELA, math, science, and social studies.

You will leave with a clear workflow, ready-to-use prompts, and ideas you can apply immediately in your classroom.
