About me
Hi! I’m Elise Eakins, and I’m heading into my 8th year of teaching at Reidville Elementary. I have a Master’s in Education with a focus in Research in Practice and a specialization in Project Based Learning. I love finding ways to make learning feel exciting, memorable, and meaningful for students through strong classroom culture, creativity, and immersive experiences.
Outside of teaching, I’m usually involved in school events, drama productions, or finding ways to bring a little extra fun into what we do. I’m also fully a Disney adult, which probably explains my love for themes, storytelling, classroom “magic,” and making learning feel like an experience instead of just another lesson.
